Q3 sales of C$31.8 million vs. C$27.3 million in the prior year, ahead of analyst estimates of C$31.2 million

Q3 2026 EPS: C$0.05 vs. C$0.04 in the prior year, ahead of analyst estimates of C$0.04

Cannara completed the C$2.8 million acquisition of Medican Organic Inc., including C$2.7 million of acquired intellectual property.

Cannara entered a Curaleaf supply agreement with potential value up to C$21 million, commencing August 1, 2026.

Cannara secured exclusive Canadian rights to Blue River’s Ampersand live rosin infusion technology.

Two grow zones were activated, raising annualized capacity above 58,000 kilograms across 14 operating zones.

Four additional zones are planned for fiscal 2027, increasing projected capacity to approximately 75,000 kilograms one year ahead of schedule.

National retail market share remained 4.4%, while products exceeded 49,000 distribution points as of June 2026.

Management Commentary:

"The third quarter demonstrated the depth and resilience of our business, with gross cannabis revenues rising 16% year-over-year to a record $44.1 million while we maintained profitability, expanded our national distribution footprint and continued to strengthen Cannara’s operating platform. Beyond our core operations, we advanced several strategic priorities, including completing the acquisition of Medican Organic Inc., securing exclusive Canadian rights to Blue River’s proprietary Ampersand™ live rosin infusion technology, and entering our first long-term international supply agreement with Curaleaf. Together with the acceleration of our cultivation capacity expansion, these milestones support Cannara’s next phase of disciplined, profitable growth," commented Zohar Krivorot, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cannara.

"Cannara delivered another quarter of profitable growth, generating $31.8 million in total net revenues, $13.4 million in gross profit before fair value adjustments at a 42% margin, and $8.5 million in adjusted EBITDA, up 11% year-over-year. We remained profitable with net income of $4.8 million and generated $5.7 million in operating cash flow. While free cash flow reflected continued capital investment in the Valleyfield expansion, these investments are designed to expand processing capacity, support future grow-zone activations and unlock the next phase of growth while maintaining the financial discipline that underpins our profitability," said Nicholas Sosiak, Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer of Cannara.

Our Quick Take:

To give you a little context, Cannara Biotech is a Canadian vertically integrated cannabis company based in Québec that cultivates and produces premium-grade cannabis. The company maintains a strong focus on the domestic Canadian market and is currently the leading licensed producer (LP) in Québec. Cannara operates the Valleyfield facility and an indoor cannabis cultivation facility that comprises 24 rooms, which are turned on gradually as demand increases.

The key takeaway from today’s results is that Cannara has already activated 14/24 growth rooms and plans to activate four additional rooms, which will increase capacity from 58,000kg to 75,000kg, one year ahead of the original fiscal 2028 timeline. Considering each room can generate about C$10-12M in gross revenue per year, this will increase Cannara’s capacity to around C$198M in gross revenue or C$139M in net revenue. Currently, the company generates around C$117M in trailing twelve-month revenue, so this capacity increase could lift revenue by around 19.0%.

We will be paying close attention to the conference call since in the Vegas conference, management stated that they were seeing less price competition in the market lately, competitors seem more rational, and some have begun raising prices at retail.

ICYMI, the company presented at the Prime Microcap conference in Florida in March; you can see a replay of the presentation here.

Cannara Biotech Inc. cultivates, processes, and sells cannabis and cannabis-derivative products for wholesale and online cannabis markets.
