The company offers Makito Series video encoders and decoders for end-to-end transport of secure and high-quality HD video; video transmitters and mobile encoders for video contribution over bonded unmanaged IP networks; Command 360, a software platform for real-time visualization of business-critical information; Haivision Kraken, a video transcoder for mission-critical ISR, situational awareness, and field monitoring applications; Haivision Hub for Government, a video network service for live and low latency video streaming between government agencies and public cloud delivery services; and Haivision Media Platform that manages, shares, and delivers secure corporate communications, real-time video feeds, and broadcast IPTV. Further, it provides Haivision SRT Gateway, a broadcast solution for secure routing of live video streams across different types of IP networks; SRT Streaming Protocol that optimizes streaming performance across unpredictable networks; BeOnAIR transmission bundle; Haivision EMS, an element management system for centrally managing and monitoring encoders and decoders; Haivision Play Pro, a free app for securely playing or streaming live SRT feeds from anywhere over the internet; and Haivision Play, series of high performance video player applications for mobile devices, desktops, managed set-top boxes. The company serves broadcast, enterprise, government, medical, and military and defense industries. The company was formerly known as Hajtek Vision Inc. and changed its name to Haivision Systems Inc. in June 2004. Haivision Systems Inc. was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada.

Haivision Systems Inc. (TSX:HAI) (OOTC:HAIVF) ($3.68; $103.6 M market cap), a leading global provider of mission-critical, real-time networking and visual collaboration solutions, just entered our pipeline.

Per the company:

“Our connected cloud and intelligent edge technologies enable organizations to engage audiences, enhance collaboration, and support decision making. We provide high quality, low latency, secure, and reliable live video at a global scale.”

Comments from the Q3 2024 earnings release has caught our attention.

"As we get closer to the end of our Fiscal 2024, I'm proud to say that we have completed our 2-year strategic plan for major EBITDA and profitability transformation," said Mirko Wicha, Chairman and CEO of Haivision. Successfully transitioning out of low margin businesses, our focus over the next two years will be to return Haivision to organic, double-digit revenue growth."

Current analyst revenue estimates do not match the narrative management is sharing. Analysts call for 3.8% top line growth for 2025, where management states double digit revenue growth.

Analyst EPS estimates are for CAD 0.17 and CAD 0.30 for fiscal 2024 and 2025 respectively.

We will look to interview management to get a better understanding of the business and growth prospects. With a respectable balance sheet, high insider ownership ( 30%), and possible InfoArb on growth prospects, we are very interested to dive deeper into the story.

The company has a history of missing estimates, so we are taking everything with a grain of salt, but are interested in watching the turnaround.
