Q2 sales of C$3.1 million vs. C$1.6 million in the prior year

Q2 2026 EPS: loss of C$(0.02) vs. loss of C$(0.02) in the prior year

The company repaid its related party loan in full during the six months ended April 30, 2026.

ALUULA signed a Vancouver manufacturing lease for October 2026 possession, targeting approximately ten times current production capacity.

Management said fiscal 2026 is an investment year focused on production capacity for scalable growth in fiscal 2027 and beyond.

The company granted 308,919 stock options to the CFO and 18,199 stock options to certain directors at C$3.17 per share.

Management Commentary:

"I am pleased to report another record quarter for ALUULA, with Q2 2026 sales exceeding $3.0 million for the first time in the Company's history and gross margins of 44%, within our previously noted range of 40-45%,"

"Performance Outdoor continued to account for the majority of sales in the quarter, while Commercial Industrial represented a larger share than in the prior year period. This shift reflects the early traction we are seeing as ALUULA broadens its revenue base across new and developing applications."

"Subsequent to quarter end, we signed a lease for our new Vancouver manufacturing facility, which will support our planned capacity expansion and broader production capability. As we advance this build-out, these investments are intended to support future revenue growth and position ALUULA for the next phase of scalable growth."

Our Quick Take:

Strong results, but the stock is at least fairly valued based on its current financials. We’re only tracking ALUULA because the company previously stated it would 10x its capacity (Jan 2026 presentation, slide 21) to better serve large customers it currently cannot reach.

Management is explicitly hinting at a strong 2027, so this is where we might see the explosive revenue growth they have been preparing for. Although explosive growth usually requires significant working capital investments, the company has an extremely strong net cash position of C$13.66M, so dilution is most likely not a significant risk.

ALUULA actually presented at the Planet Microcap Las Vegas 2026 conference. Here are some of the highlights

Holds patents on both product and process, with main patents expiring in 2037; actively expanding IP portfolio.

No patent infringement encountered yet, but competition is anticipated; first-mover advantage and brand equity are key defenses.

Demand exceeds current capacity, leading to a nine-month waitlist for new customers.

Aluula Composites Inc. manufactures high-performance soft composite materials used in wind sports, outdoor gear, sailing equipment, and other commercial applications.

Research

ALUULA Composites Inc. (TSXV:AUUA) (OTCQB:AUUAF) (C$3.68; C$95.9M market cap) announced a brokered private placement offering:

Announced a "best efforts" brokered private placement for gross proceeds of C$10,002,300.

Offering consists of 3,031,000 units at C$3.30 per unit, each unit including one common share and half a warrant.

Each full warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share at C$4.29 within 24 months.

Warrants may be accelerated if shares trade at C$8.25+ for 30 consecutive trading days.

Agent (Canaccord Genuity Corp.) has a 15% over-allotment option (Agent’s Option).

Net proceeds will be used for expansion of manufacturing capacity (new facility) and general working capital.

Closing expected on or about February 24, 2026, subject to TSXV and other approvals.

Our Quick Take:

ALUULA reported Q4 2025 results yesterday, highlighting that securing additional capital to expand manufacturing capacity is a key priority for FY2026. The raise aligns with accelerating demand from marquee customers, with agreements now totaling more than $6 million, with over $5 million in sales orders targeted for fulfillment (capacity permitting) in the first half of fiscal 2026. In their most recent presentation (slide 21), management actually stated that they will 10x capacity.

–

Qualstar Corporation (OTC:QBAK) ($19.60; $27.1M market cap) announced the launch of the Q1000+ Enterprise Tape Library:

Launched Q1000+ Enterprise Tape Library for large-scale backup, disaster recovery, and long-term archiving.

Our Quick Take:

Nice to see the new product launch, however, still perplexed about the split not occurring yet. The significance of this product update is that it aligns with statements made during our 12/10/2025 skull sessions with QBAK management about aggressively targeting enterprise customers as opposed to the smaller customers they focused on in the past.

Qualstar Corporation manufactures data storage systems and power supply solutions, providing energy-efficient power converters and data management devices for industries such as telecom, industrial, gaming, medical, and networking.

Research

Aluula Composites Inc. (OTCQB:AUUAF) (TSXV:AUUA) (C$3.75; C$98.7M market cap) announced Q4 and FY 2025 results:

Q4 sales of C$2.9 million vs. C$1.7 million in the prior year

Q4 2025 EPS: C$0.00 vs. loss of (C$0.09) in the prior year

FY 2025 sales of C$7.9 million vs. C$6.4. million in the prior year

FY 2025 EPS: loss of (C$0.06) vs. loss of (C$0.21) in the prior year

Backlog/orders: Open sales orders at October 31, 2025 stayed consistent with July 31, 2025 at over C$3 million

Validated a new manufacturing method; produced and shipped first customer samples at 1.5-meter width

Outlook/guidance: Management priorities include securing/deploying growth capital, scaling manufacturing capacity, deepening partnerships, expanding the technology portfolio; near-term revenue conversion and margins may be “slightly tempered” by capacity investments and fewer productive manufacturing days in early 2026

Capital/funding: Company states it will “pursue additional funding options” / “secure and deploy growth capital”

Management Commentary:

"Q4 2025 was ALUULA's strongest quarter to date, extending the momentum from Q3 and delivering record annual sales of $7.9 million, confirming strong market demand for ALUULA's high-performance, ultra-light, no-sew, recycle-ready composite fabrics," said Sage Berryman, CEO and President of ALUULA. "The results also reflect our disciplined pricing, cost control, and operational efficiencies, with Q4 delivering a positive net income for the core business. In 2026, we will build on this foundation as we transition from early-stage disruption to sustainable growth, increase manufacturing capacity, expand our presence in key markets, and deepen relationships with global partners. To support this next phase, we will pursue additional funding options to accelerate our growth.”

Our Quick Take:

You can see our fireside chat with CEO Sage Berryman from September 2025 here, as well as the presentation from MS Microcaps’ Starting Five Defense Conference in November of 2025 here. Now, we’re waiting on any update regarding prior commentary on a future capacity expansion.

Aluula Composites Inc. manufactures high-performance soft composite materials used in wind sports, outdoor gear, sailing equipment, and other commercial applications.

Research

Aluula Composites Inc (TSXV:AUUA) (OOTC:AUUAF) (C$3.32; c$87.4M market cap) announced preliminary unaudited Q4 2025 results:

Q4 sales of approximately C$2.9 million vs. C$1.67 million in the prior year

Fiscal 2025 gross margins expected within 40–45% target range

Over $6M in binding purchase agreements scheduled for fulfillment in fiscal 2026

Sales orders pending fulfillment have exceeded $5M since October 31, 2025

Q4 performance tested existing production capacity; near-term fulfillment may be constrained until Q1 2026 investments are completed

Company plans to seek funding in early 2026 (equity, debt, or non-dilutive options) to scale manufacturing

Management affirms growth strategy is supported by its UHMWPE composite fabric technology, validated 1.5-meter manufacturing, and strong partner demand

Management Commentary:

“We are delivering exactly what we set out to do, and our preliminary unaudited Q4 revenue combined with a strong pipeline of binding sales orders are clear proof of this execution and demand. To build on this momentum, we need to scale, and we are exploring funding avenues to expand in line with our business plan. This level of execution is only possible with a highly capable and aligned team, and continued investment in the people who drive our performance remains fundamental to how we scale. We believe it is the right moment for us: we have the right products, and the right team, at the right time, to carry this growth forward,” said Sage Berryman, CEO and President of ALUULA.

Additional Disclosures from Shareholder Letter:

The December 10, 2025 Shareholder Letter includes several key details not found in the press release:

Named Customers: Binding purchase agreements include marquee customers Aqua and Airseas, with a combined order volume exceeding $6 million for fiscal 2026.

Sales Order Breakdown: Of the total backlog, $3 million in open sales orders remained pending as of October 31, 2025, excluding full volumes under the Aqua and Airseas agreements.

Gross Margin Outlook: Fiscal 2025 margins are expected within the 40–45% range, but management warns margins may dip toward the lower end due to expansion-related costs.

Q1 2026 Fulfillment Constraints: Fewer productive manufacturing days in Q1 2026, alongside capacity limitations, may delay fulfillment of some open orders.

R&D Progress: Advancements include AI-driven quality control, waterproof breathable material prototypes, and steps toward full circularity in recycling processes.

FY2026 Strategic Priorities: Four initiatives were highlighted—scaling capacity, strengthening brand partnerships, advancing innovation, and maintaining margin discipline.

Our Quick Take:

We believe Aluula is entering a clear inflection point. Demand is now outpacing current production capacity, supported by more than $6M in binding purchase agreements, of which $5M will be fulfilled by H1 2026, all while gross margins eventually rise to the 40-45% range. The company has validated its technology and is showing accelerating revenue, but unlocking this demand will require securing additional funding and will most likely result in some dilution.

From the company’s shareholder letter, it is evident that they are trying to strongly convey that they’ve moved past the scrappy experimental phase and are growing into a real, scalable business with a clearer game plan. They see their ultra-strong, recyclable fabrics as a branded ingredient that makes partners’ products better, especially in things like wind, defense, and high-end outdoor gear. The letter stresses that earlier belt-tightening and focus are now showing results, and that demand from key partners is strong enough that they need more capacity. They’re doubling down on R&D, recycling, and new applications, while looking to raise capital so they can scale manufacturing.

Aluula’s CEO sat down with Maj on a few occasions, once for a Geo Fireside Chat, and lastly at the MS Microcaps Defense Conference, which you can view here and here to get more context and insights beyond what the letter gives.

Aluula Composites Inc. manufactures high-performance soft composite materials used in wind sports, outdoor gear, sailing equipment, and other commercial applications.
